Celebracion Mexicana is Ballet Folklorico San Diego Dance Company’s signature event. During this event, dancers, parents, families, friends, and the community in general learned and enjoyed the rich Mexican Culture through its traditional dances and outfits from various regions of Mexico. As a group Ballet Folklorico SDDC showcases this art with passion and heart by performing to the delight of the audience. This event was a moment that dancers, their families, and the community will treasure forever!

At the University of San Diego’s Shiley Theater

At this year’s 4th annual celebration talented dancers, from children to adults, will present new dances and stunning costumes, accompanied by the incredible Mariachi Real de San Diego.

Following the performance, the festivities will continue in the garden area with live mariachi music, delicious Mexican snacks, candy, pan dulce, and artisanal goods available for purchase.

This year, funding for this event has been provided by City of San Diego Cultural Affairs.
